Das Gottesbild als neues theoretisches Konstrukt wird daher in diesem Buch in die religionssoziologische Theoriedebatte eingeführt. Es wird hierbei theoretisch innerhalb von Religion verortet, seine individuelle Entstehung nachskizziert und typologisiert.

the dynamic interactions between physical, chemical, biological, social, and cultural factors that shape human multidimensionality. Emphasizing this multidimensionality, this edited volume seeks to bridge the divide between biology and social theory—two research communities that have too often overlooked each other. These disciplines, despite being central to understanding human nature, have long operated in isolation. While some animal species exhibit higher degrees of phenotypic plasticity in specific traits, humans stand out as the most plastic species in both their neurological and sociocultural systems. This plasticity leads the contributors of this book to move beyond both biological reductionism and the blank-slate hypothesis. While biology undoubtedly plays a role in shaping and stabilizing human social and cultural processes, it does so only within the framework of an inherently social environment—one shaped by historically contingent and socially constructed realities, such as values, codes, and cultural perceptions. More importantly, cultural structures and social interactions actively shape and transform certain biological features that were once considered immutable. This book lays the groundwork for a productive dialogue among biologists, psychologists, social theorists, and philosophers. It also highlights some of the moral and political consequences of different perspectives within the nature vs. nurture debate. Through updated scientific and philosophical theorizing, the chapters in this book aim to overcome, once and for all, the simplistic yet persistent opposition between nature and nurture, offering a far more complex and dynamic—yet richer and epistemologically manageable—picture of the human being.

In doing so, this volume provides a comprehensive overview of existing literature on food literacy and the methodologies utilized to study the same across the Global North and South. Furthermore, this volume reports the findings of a primary research study conducted in the domain of curriculum analysis across school education boards of six South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It also documents the teaching-learning experiences and perceptions of various stakeholders from select schools and regions in India. Besides highlighting the dynamic, contextual, and place-based nature of food literacies, the volume questions the autonomous nature of literacy studies, thereby promoting a less deterministic and more sustainable, inclusive, and discursive paradigm of food literacy/literacies.

Den Schwerpunkt der Arbeit bildet die qualitative und quantitative Auswertung des Programmaustausches innerhalb der Intervision sowie deren Zusammenarbeit mit der westeuropäischen Eurovision unter Berücksichtigung der damaligen politischen und technologischen Rahmenbedingungen und Implikationen. Die analytische Betrachtung erstreckt sich dabei auf den gesamten Zeitraum des Bestehens der Intervision von 1960 bis 1993. Mit dieser umfassenden Untersuchung liefert der Band wertvolle Einblicke in die Mechanismen und Dynamiken des europäischen Fernsehprogrammaustausches in den Zeiten des Kalten Krieges und schließt an die gegenwärtige Forschung zum sozialistischen Fernsehen aus transnationaler Perspektive an.

Amalgamating two diverse traditional EU policy fields, the nexus brings together two very different kinds of policy actors: Development policy actors and migration policy actors. These actors have different interests and goals and represent fundamentally different policy logics, therefore forming different policy communities. The amalgamation of these two policy logics in the migration-development nexus ultimately explains the inherent inconsistencies, but also the success of the nexus as an EU public policy.

This book provides a novel resource on the distribution and ecology of macrophytes around the world. The Atlas fills a gap in scientific knowledge of the global ecology of an important group of aquatic plants. It highlights the expansion of invasive species and describes hotspots of endemism and rarity for freshwater macrophytes across the planet. The data included in this book range from karyological to biogeographical studies on macrophytes, within a general theme of understanding the environmental factors that drive the biodiversity, ecology, landscape genetics, and conservation of aquatic plants in freshwater ecosystems. The second volume of the World Atlas of Freshwater Macrophytes: Dicotyledonous species II (Molluginaceae – Tetrachondraceae) covers 21 botanical families and 824 species of aquatic macrophytes. The authors, based in Mexico, Scotland, Spain, and the USA are members of an informal international research network, set up in 2017 by retired aquatic botanist Kevin Murphy, which is dedicated to advancing macroecological knowledge of freshwater macrophytes in the inland freshwater and brackish waterbodies of worldwide wetland ecosystems. The topic of this book is relevant not only to scholars and academics but also to practitioners in wetland management, decision makers, and aquatic plant hobbyists.
