Diario de una bordadora
Par Srta. Lylo. 2023
Your Mind: Use nature as your guide to a happier, healthier life

A bit grey? Do you feel as if your emotions have flatlined? This is anhedonia – a word only a few of us have heard of but one that explains why so many of us feel we are sleepwalking through life. It explains why many of us spend our lives in a fog, feeling neither happy nor sad, just not very much at all. In the first book to tackle this missing piece in mental health, writer Tanith Carey joins the dots on how convenience culture, stressful lifestyles, modern diets and both female and male hormonal changes can dial down our ability to feel excitement and joy. With the help of world-leading experts and by digging into the latest research, Tanith shows you how your brain's dopamine reward system works and provides strategies to help you bring colour back into your life. Features Timely coverage of changes in process control technology for the phamaceutical industry, a dynamic area in terms of products and manufacturing processes Provides an update on the unique requirements of these industries and how they differ from others, for example the microelectronics or specialized chemicals industries Draws on the author's vast experience in the field of industrial hygiene and hazardous materials Presents a collection of unique situations in which industrial hygiene was implemented to resolve a variety of scenarios and did not interfere with quality issues Addresses current topics relating to industry evolution such as migration of therapies to higher potency, RiskMAP, new modalities in medicines and treatments, large molecule therapeutics and conjugatesThis book offers an ability-based view of mental disorders. It develops a detailed analysis of the concept of inability that…
is relevant in the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic context by drawing on the most recent literature on the concepts of ability, reasons, and harm. What is it to have a mental disorder? This book contends that an individual has a mental disorder if and only if (1) they are・in the relevant sense・unable to respond adequately to their available (apparent) reasons in their thinking, feeling, or acting, and (2) they are harmed by the condition underlying or resulting from that inability. The author calls this the “Rehability View.” This view can account for what is “mental” about mental disorders: it is the rational relations among an individual’s attitudes and actions that are “disordered,” and the relevant norms are the norms of reasons. This view is compatible with explanations of mental disorders in terms of biological dysfunctions, without reducing the former to the latter. The aim is not to offer just another conception of mental disorder, but to develop a systematic approach that incorporates insights from the philosophy of psychiatry and adjacent philosophical disciplines. Philosophy of Mental Disorder will be of interest to scholars and advanced students working in philosophy of psychiatry, philosophy of mind, philosophy of action, ethics, and mental health. The Truth Detective: A Poker Player’s Guide to a Complex World

we receive when we embrace them.A few years ago, Kris Carr&’s world was falling apart. Her father was dying, she had to pivot her business because of the pandemic, and she was on the verge of reaching her twenty-year milestone of living with an incurable Stage IV cancer diagnosis. While sitting in a CVS parking lot, she broke down, finally allowing herself to feel the massive stress and sadness she had been suppressing in order to seem strong for those around her, and for herself. And then she asked herself, &“If embracing my intense emotions helped me feel even the slightest bit better, why was I so determined to avoid them? And given how all-encompassing this hint of catharsis felt, where else in my life have I been avoiding grief?&”In this book, Kris shares her (embarrassing, painful, helpful, hilarious, and sometimes inappropriate) stories and observations about what to expect when you&’re not expecting your world to fall apart. If your life has been turned upside down—whether it be the dissolving of a relationship or marriage, the end of a job or career, any other number of significant unexpected transitions. . . or, like Kris, you are wrestling with the pain that comes from an illness or the death of a loved one, this book is filled with real-life experiences, practices, and insights that can help you feel better—not cured—but better. It will provide comfort and community as you learn that these big messy emotions can be a catalyst to take inventory of your life, figure out what matters most, and reset. . . because as Kris says, &“when we&’re brave enough to tend to our hearts: Our messy emotions can teach us how to be free––not free from pain, but free from the fear of pain and the barrier it creates to fully living.&”Siete reglas de oro para vivir en pareja: Un estudio exhaustivo sobre las relaciones y la convivencia
