Résumé
Rex and his friends begin grade six against the backdrop of the 1962 Ban the Bomb protests on Parliament Hill, but other problems capture Rex's attention - a bully for a teacher, his father's sadness over Remembrance Day, not to… mention dad's secret stash of photographs and letters - written in German. Then Rex finds a lost address book whose owner is Natasha, the victim of an abusive husband. Though he wishes he had heroic powers to help her, Rex finds all the answers in his own ingenuity and with the help of good friends. Grades 4-7. Some descriptions of violence. 2007.
