Summary
In 1954, at the age of nineteen, Florence Kaefer accepted a job as a teacher at Norway House. In 1967, Norway House Indian Residential School of Manitoba closed its doors after a questionable past. Many years later, Florence unexpectedly reconnected… with one of her Norway House students, Edward Gamblin. He told her of the abuse he had suffered at the residential school and how the government had erased his cultural identity. This is the story of their personal reconciliation. c2014.
