Tybo, Nevada, a gem of a western frontier community. The story begins with Dr. Gally who settled in Hot Creek Valley in 1866 to mine for mineral deposits. Eventually, he and a colleague discovered an enormous vein of silver, lead… and zinc in what became the town of Tybo. This story covers the development of Tybo sharing aspects of social life, stores, bars, brothels, accidents, and conflicts during the hey days of the 1870's and again with corporate activities into the 1920's and 30's. Includes a discussion of the 1968 atomic test in Hot Creek Valley
