Summary

Ruben Gonzalez Gallego est né à Moscou, en septembre 1968, dans la clinique du Kremlin. Attendant des jumeaux, sa mère y avait été conduite d'urgence grâce à l'intervention de son père, dirigeant du Parti communiste espagnol clandestin. Le premier bébé… mourut. Le second, prénommé Ruben, atteint de paralysie cérébrale, fut enlevé à sa mère. Après un séjour dans un orphelinat spécial réservé à l'élite communiste, ballotté d'institution en institution, centres fermés, centres secrets situés sur tout le territoire de l'Union soviétique, il finit par atterrir dans un asile de vieux où étaient placés d'office les handicapés incapables d'exercer un métier utile. De l'histoire de celui qu'on a pu surnommer "Le masque de fer du communisme" est né ce récit autobiographique, récemment publié en Russie, salué comme l'oeuvre d'un grand écrivain. 2005, c2002.
